Sharing the Knowledge of Success
The Strategic Plan of Georgia Tech has as one of its goals, “A supportive, collaborative, and effective administrative infrastructure”. One important way to accomplish this goal is through the sharing and adopting of identified best practices.
Georgia Tech encourages all of its departments, units, schools and colleges to continue to develop creative and innovative ways to improve processes, use technology, and motivate people. Additionally, all staff and faculty are encouraged to create, share and adopt ideas, both within their home departments and with their campus counterparts. The Institute further encourages all staff and faculty to participate in one or more of the best practices competitions that are held every year.
To assist the campus in disseminating best practices, the Office of Organizational Development will become the repository for administrative, academic and research-oriented best practices as well as facilitate the adoption of best practices across the Institute.
