Mentor Tech Mentoring Program
Mentor Tech, a program sponsored by the Office of Organizational Development, matches employees who wish to mentor with employees who desire to be mentored. The mission of the program is to empower individuals to further their career development by tapping into the wealth of experience and talents possessed by other Georgia Tech employees.
This program strives to achieve the following objectives:
- Provide career and leadership development
- Provide an informal advisor to help others succeed and grow in the Georgia Tech environment
- Enhance performance in current employment role
The process for matching mentors and protégé is outlined below:
- Applicants are matched according to career and mentoring interests.
- Mentors and protégés are informed of proposed match.
- Pairs meet to discuss interests and program expectations and decide if match will be successful.
- Match is finalized.
