Workplace Education Programs
Three Workplace Education Programs are available to Georgia Tech employees.
- English as a Second Language provides basic English language instruction to employees who are non native English speakers. Employees attend two days per week for two hours each day. Georgia Tech provides two hours of release time per week and the employee contributes two hours of their time each week.
- WorkPlace Spanish provides basic Spanish language skills to employees who either supervise or provide services to faculty, staff or students who speak Spanish. This basic conversational class is customized to address basic workplace needs. This course is offered one day per week for 1 ½ hours. To register for this program go to: www.trainsweb.gatech.edu
